Surprise, at any time
after we had booked Ziehmlich late it was after a little initial difficulty (radiator in the booked room was not working properly) is really a good time. We were soon to another (even better category) room, the service at the hotel is exemplary, the staff exceptionaly friendly and helpful.
There was absolutely nothing to suspend.

Location was pretty good for seeing the main attractions. Close to many restaurants and bars. Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast was good but a bit chaotic around the buffet. Room was a little small but did suffice. Next time, we'll definitely come back to this hotel.

pefectly located hotel
A perfect hotel located in the old center of Pest. Excellent breakfast, and rooms with air condition. This is important when the temperature rise to 32 degrees Celsius.

Really enjoyed my stay
The best thing about this hotel is it's location everything is within walking distance and for things a little further away, the Metro is right by the front door. The lobby, dinning room and cafe are quite grand and the service first class, the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment at present and when complete, I'm sure will return the Astoria to it's original grandeur. I realy enjoyed my stay.

Very good hotel
For its price, the Astoria is a very good hotel, particularly for its central location. All the major sites were within walking distance. The interior is a little dark, but this added to the old-world charm.
