Refurbished in 2005, the Days Hotel Galway is two kilometers from the picturesque Galway Bay in Ireland and the Galway city center, where visitors can find music, festivals, horse racing, pubs, restaurants, shops and theatres.
The Days Hotel Galway provides guestrooms decorated in a bright contemporary style with king-size beds and thick white duvets. All rooms include a satellite television, en suite bathroom with power shower, tea and coffee maker and high-speed Internet access. Guests can start the day with continental or complete Irish breakfasts.
Other hotel amenities and services include a restaurant, lounge with live music and snacks, 21-meter pool, toddlers' pool, jetted tub, sauna, aerobics studio, floodlit tennis courts, and sports hall for football, basketball and indoor games.
For the kids, the hotel offers the complimentary Friendly Fellows program, which provides activities for three-year-olds to teenagers staying at the hotel on weekends and during school holidays.
Kid-friendly activities include arts and crafts, karaoke, story time, face painting, videos and video games, pool tournaments, dancing, football, basketball, swimming, horseback riding, golfing, bowling and trips to movie theaters, activity centers, the aquarium and pet farms. |

Days Hotel Galway is two kilometers from the picturesque Galway Bay in Ireland and the Galway city center. Just outside the city lies Salthill, providing activities from sailing, golfing and diving to nightlife with dancing and funfairs. The nearest airport is Galway Carnmore, approximately 10 kilometers from the hotel.
Galway's city centre is compact and easily do-able in a day's amble. The recently pedestrianised streets are teeming with musicians and other street performers, especially during the summer months. Lynch's Castle, St. Nicholas's Church, the Spanish Arch, the Cathedral and the National University of Ireland - Galway are all within walking distance. There are some excellent shops and restaurants packed into the centre, which cater for all tastes and pockets.
The Eyre Square Shopping Centre has just about everything under one roof, including a section of the original thirteenth-century city wall which has been tastefully incorporated into the overall design. Check out the local produce and craft Market on Saturdays by St. Nicholas's church. |

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Days Hotel in Galway just last weekend. It was a pleasant relaxing experience, nothing to fault really. The hotel is very large and very well maintained located just on the outskirts of the main city center. Days Hotel ...
I stayed at Days Hotel Galway over the weekend. Though the hotel is so big you feel as though you're walking around an airport, the standard of the room and the price make it well worth that extra walk to and from the room!
The breakfast and dinner were fine...
