excellent value
excellent option for a brief two night stay in UK, the hotel is not far from airport -no shuttle bus, either taxi or like us use Bus 308 and ask the driver to let you know when to get off (£6 return for 2- you have to climb up/down bank into hotel car park)
The hotel itself is fine, friendly and helpful staff, good clean large roon, well equiped, comfy bed, plenty of hot water,excellent quality continental breakfast,didn't notice any traffic noise from our room - wouldn't hesitate to recommend, especially for travellers on a budget,

Fine at Otel's room rate
Stayed one night as a stop over on a journey south. Initially tried to check in at the other Days property on the service area site which looked nice and brand new, but was advised I was at the wrong Days property.
TIP .... if booked in at this property, stay in the inside (left) lane of the road that circumnavigates the service area and bear left into this property.
Eventually checked in to what was originally a Travel Lodge, but Days have put their own stamp on the property and it is a million miles away (for the better) than a Travel Lodge.
Clean comfortable room and bathroom. For the money, no complaints at all.
Having since looked at the otel site again, I note two entries for Days at Stansted and note the newer property offers slightly better facilities at around £5.00 a night extra.
