My girlfreind and I were there for 8 days, since 3rd of August.
It's a nice, clean place located in city centre.
Beds are great and it's quiet so you can sleep after a long city tour. Breakfasts are ok, you won't be hungry for some time.
Staff is friendy and very helpful.
It's a great place since it's located near O'Connell St. (about 10min walk to famous Grafton St.)and main train and bus station (but don't think this make extra noise, as I said - it quiet an comfortable).
My warmest recommendations! |

Excellent value for money (for the midweek rate that I got). Room small but comfortable. Very central location. One major thing to watch - they tried to charge me 30 euros for 30-min dial-up to local ISP. Real cost is about 1c a minute, and even with big hotel mark-up it should only be 1 or 2 euros. When I objected, they gave me 60% off and promised to look into it. |

The Comfort Inn on Talbot Street in Dublin is located only two blocks from bustling O'Connell Street and the Liffey River (and the Spire). It is a short walk to the Connolly Rail Station and the City Bus Station, making all parts of Ireland easily accessible from this location. The hotel is your typical Comfort Inn quality, clean - not too fancy. We have stayed in a family room three different times here and found the room to be large. The only really complaint we had was low water pressure, but we found that to be true throughout the island. Breakfast was delicious and the surrounding area has a number of nice Italian restaurants. There is a very small car park behind the hotel, but if you're coming to Dublin - I'd try to do it without a car if possible.
Rent the car only on the days you are out of Dublin. Enjoy! |
