Huge Room, immaculate. Bathrobes in terrific bath. Smashing breakfast with champagne. Such a step above the ordinary. We would stay here again. Very quiet with great window shopping on the same street. This was a pleasure. Just wish someone in Italy would do crisp bacon! |

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel de La Ville for 5 nights.
The rooms were booked thru our travel agent, but we relied on the favorable trip advisor reviews in making the final selection. The reviews were accurate. Our stay at the Hotel de La Ville was most enjoyable. Service was excellant, the room decor was very tasteful and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and elegant. The cold buffet breakfast was excellant. The Hotel is very centrally located. If you stay in Florence please try a small restaurant that is located on one of the alley ways just behind and to the left of the Hotel de La Ville Hotel. The name of the restaurant is the Trattoria Marone and it is located on the Via del Moro at its intersection with the Via del Sol. It had great food at very modest prices. |

Just got back from a week in Florence staying at the De La Ville Hotel.
It was a fabulous experience. The location could not have been better.
The rooms were a good size with very nice bathrooms.The breakfast buffet which was included consisted of fresh fruit, rolls, cheeses, meats, cereals, juices. and champagne. There was a nice bar area for relaxing at the end of the day. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. At 160 euros a night it was a great bargin. |

Immaculately clean room and hotel generally. In good position for all tourist sites. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Only downside was no view from bedroom window whatsoever - only a wall - but cleanliness and quality of bedroom decor made up for this. There is so much to see in Florence there is hardly time to spend in room. I would stay in this hotel again. |

Our family of 4 spent several days in Florence for the second summer in a row at the de la Ville and what a difference this hotel made! A very business oriented hotel in a wonderful location on a marvelous street between the Hermes and Ferragamo stores with an accomodating and warm front desk staff that recommended unique restaurants and treated my teen boys like adults. This sophisticated hotel with many amenities (bathrobes ,turndown service, great A/C, a happy hour with complimentary appetizers and half price drinks, yet a great rate on gtahotels.com) offered us a welcome respite from the charming yet not always comfortable B&Bs we had been staying in. What a find in Florence! |

This is a great hotel. The location is excellent. Just a few minute walk to the main tourist attractions. The hotel is centrally located and it is on a street that is quiet at night. The staff are very helpful and polite. The room was clean and a decent size. The hotel is sandwiched between two buildings, so you will not get a view. A view is always nice, but I did like the fact that the room was quiet. This is a great hotel for the price. |
