fantastic hotel

we stayed here while in Rome to watch the England v Italy match in Feb 2008.very comfortable and excellent food.Staff very attentive. Stay made even better as BBC rugby pundits where staying here too. Easy walking distance to restaraunts and shops and close to tram stops for Vatican City etc

Fabulous!

My sister and I spent 4 nights in this hotel and we hated to say good-bye. The hotel staff is professional, patient, extremely helpful, and polite. The hotel is on a lovely little residential street with cafe bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. The best part is that it is tucked away from the throngs of tourists which flock to Rome but not so far that a taxi ride is outrageous. On average we paid 10 - 15 Euro per ride. We were too lazy to figure out the bus system. The sleeping area and bathroom were spotless. The walls are a bit thin but we were not kept awake at night by noise. If you are a very light sleeper you may want earplugs as the neighborhood has a lot of dogs which bark at night. The bed was a bit too firm for my taste but that was the only drawback. Extra blankets are provided if needed. The breakfast room was clean and provided various pastries,cereals, meats, cheeses, and drinks. In conclusion: We fell in love with this hotel and its staff...and especially the neighborhood. If we ever go back we are definitely staying here again.
