nice hotel in lovely area
This hotel is quite nice and in a lovely area but our room was very small, the bathroom even smaller and the bed was so comfortable.

I'm coming at the hotel since 10 years. It's for me a very good hotel located in a very nice district which is Montmartre. The hotel is run by a family since 50 years and i don't think they overbooked the hotel. They take care of my complain every time. They refurbished all the rooms last winter and for the rate it s a very good quality. They have avery nice breakfast room on the basement.

The Hotel des Arts is set in picturesque surroundings, 5 minutes walk from both the Blanche and Abessess Metro stations. The posistion of the hotel could not be better, just off a bustling local street that has every convienience imaginable. The local restaurants/ bistros and caf?'s are great, catering for all number of tastes from classical French to Tibetan. Access to all the Parisian sites is extremley easy due to the proximity of 2 local Metro lines. The hotel itself far exceeds its 2 star rating! offering smart bright surroundings and some great views of the Parisian skyline. The staff are friendly, Multi-Lingual and are on hand 24 hours a day. Breakfast is a simple affair and is served in the quaint Stone basement. I will definatly be returing to this hotel on my next stay in Paris - if only for the great value it offers

I have tried all the inexpensive hotels in Montmartre and the best of all is Hotel des Arts, 5 rue Tholoz. Also the price is terribly competitive, the hotel is clean, the atmosphere is very nice, the welcome is very friendly, I really feel at home, and the location is quite. It has no restaurant (they serve only breakfast )but there are plenty around.

We went to the hotel des arts just for a week end is not the first time we came in Montmartre. But It is the first time we found an hotel so wonderful in Paris. Everything in the hotel was excellent: the atmosphere, the room, the price... people working there are very helpfull ! Just one thing: we love cheese for breakfast and there is no in hotel des arts. If you want to enjoy your stay in Paris go to des arts hotel.
