Des Bains hotel Venice is a 100-year-old grand hotel in a park like setting facing the Adriatic. The Hotel is within easy walking distance from the Lido's shopping district.
Des Bains was built in 1900 and many of its distinctive features are still as fresh today as they were before, like the gardens with ivy winding around the regal pillars, the rows of bamboo beach huts, the grand entrance, the rattan chairs of the Colony Bar on the terrace for taking tea or an aperitif. The style is neo-classical and the decor elaborate, but tastefully Belle-Époque.
Always in step with the times, the Des Bains hotel offers a complete range of sports, to be enjoyed in or out of the water. Guests can enjoy swimming in the hotel pool, surrounded by a lovely private park; tennis, golf, windsurfing and horseback riding are also available.
