The hotel restaurant features a charming terrace area overlooking the river, where you can enjoy delicious cuisine with a splendid view towards the Jesuit Church and the infamous Wooden Chapel Bridge with its monumental Water Tower The hotels buffet breakfast is served from 7am – 11am. Here guests will find freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, local specialities, a fine selection of teas, ice cold Swiss milk and Italian coffee. Rooms are decorated with understated elegance and are well equipped. Bathrooms have a bath and in most cases a shower as well.

This was our second stay at hotel des Balances. We returned to celebrate our anniversary day in Lucerne. The experience again was fantastic. We just love this hotel! Des Balances Hotel located a stone's throw away from the old town and sights such as the Kappe...

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff.
Only negative was that their restaurant has been closed since the floods last August and is still out of action. Breakfast, including hot dishes still available though
