Nice oldfashioned place
Good for the price. Some of it is old, other parts modern and glossy. Staff helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Food on the first night was great, awful on last night. Single rooms are very small, air con is on at 25 permanently...but you can open the windows.
Very central and perfect for the trams.

Thoroughly enjoyed
The Hotel Dubrovnik was everything we expected it to be. A small, friendly hotel in the traditional style in a superb location. It is situated in a traffic free zone, within 2 mins of the bus stop where buses run every 15min to Dubrovnik Old Town. The Zagreb is at the top of a boulevard lined with restaurants and small souvenir shops. The room was quite small but we managed ok. AC was good to have in the room but it would have been nice to have tea making facilities. Also the food here is good with live music as an added bonus. The food itself was tasty but nothing special. Overall, the friendly atmosphere and good location won the day and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dubrovnik Hotel.
