Very nice
My Mom and I stayed at the Ducale because it was close to the airport. It's only 15Euro by taxi and takes 10 minutes.
The hotel is very clean, and the so are the beds. My mom thought her bed was very hard, but I slept fine. The breakfast has a very good selection of cold items, and we were impressed by the pastry selection.
From Venice, it's about 20-30 minutes by bus. |

Very Good
The room is a little small, but this was not a problem for us. The breakfest was very rich, the staff was friendly, . I would come back to the Hotel.

Decent and relatively cheap tourst base
We are just coming back from a weekend stay at Ducale Hotel. We found Ducale Hotel as a relatively cheap base to explore Venice. The hotel is located close to the airport, bus routes and train station to take you to another near by cities if you like.
The room was absolutely fine, small but clean and nicely decorated. Moreover, cleaned on daily basis. The staff was all nice and friendly, the dining facility was more or less fine, the breakfast choice was mediocre, but still fine. When we were leaving early in the morning the management provided us with a little snack box which was a nice touch. If targeting more luxury and comfort then choose something different, but if you are fine with a minimum requirements and adequacy to be satisfying then Ducale Hotel is a right base.
