basic but clean hotel with nice pool
clean, big rooms nileview or in garden, very good pool with cool water, lobby and communal parts dated but clean, rooms basically renovated, for a budget price a good hotel right at the Corniche and friendly staff

Unbeatable Rate!
Stayed at the El Luxor Hotel from 22 March to 5 April 2010 and had an enjoyable relaxing time. It is the best place to unwind after a week's Nile river cruise. It is not a 5 star resort but then again why stay and pay for a 5 star resort if you don't use or need their non-essential amenities that you are forced to pay. The price of this hotel is more than right! at otel.com. I have booked with them again for next year. I will keep on using their services.

Excellent Hotel
This hotel has unbeatable rates for a 4 star category. People tend to expect 5 star service from a 3 or 4 star rates that they paid. This hotel has all the amenities I need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. I will book this hotel anytime and also recommend it to my best friends.
