May 4, 2011 Eurohostel is a nice hostel, located next to the Katajanokka sea terminal area, just a short walk from the sights, shops and restaurants of downtown Helsinki.

Guests of the hotel will find everything close at hand; even the ferry boat ride to Helsinki zoo is only 300 metres away. The hotel can accommodate up to 365 guests in a total of 135 rooms on five floors. It is ideal for budget-conscious travellers, as you only pay for the services that you need. The staff are always on hand to help with questions, with the reception open 24-hours a day. Guests may use the internet point in the reception area to check their e-mails. Wlan covers the whole building.

* The work being carried out on the Spa has been delayed once again are now estimated for completion at the end of 2012.

LOCATION

Eurohostel is situated in the Katajanokka sea terminal area, within 500 metres of the Zoo Ferry and Helsinki’s Market Square.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Katajanmarja: Serves a range of international dishes in a relaxed, modern setting.

* Guests can enjoy some relaxation time in the sauna on the top floor of the hostel and can prepare meals in the kitchens situated on each floor, which are complete with hot plates, microwaves, refrigerators and televisions.

ROOM AMENITIES

* All 135 rooms are equipped with a table and chair, at least one lockable wardrobe, bed linen and towels.

* All rooms are non-smoking.

* Every floor has separate WC and shower facilities for men and women, as well as its own self-catering facilities with hot plates, microwave, lockable refrigerator.

* There are two room categories: Eurohostel rooms and Backpackers rooms. The Eurohostel rooms have all of the above-said facilities as well as Wi-Fi Internet access and 60 % of the rooms have TV.
