Stayed one night here as I wanted somewhere clean, comfortable and predictable for the middle of my journey. It fits the bill in all respects. The breakfast was excellent, room comfortable and clean, with nice big towels and great shower. Road outside was rather noisy because of motorcyclists using it as a race track - get a room away from the road. Ate at a nearby pub for my evening meal.
This hotel is not terribly convenient unless you have a car, but the staff are friendly, and it was everything I asked for. |

This modern hotel is located about 15-20 minutes south of the Oxford city center, right next to the Oxford United soccer field (Kassam Stadium) and one block away from Ozone - a bowling alley and movie theater complex. There is a large car park and a bus stop one block away, so you don't have to worry about where to park in the city. The room was small by American standards, but very clean and comfortable.
There was a double bed and a loveseat that converted to another bed.
The price was 69 GBP to 79 GBP per room and included a breakfast buffet of croissants, cereals, yogurt, grapefruit, coffee, tea, juices.
Overall, a very good value. I'd stay here again. |
