Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club in Waterford Ireland is housed in an 18th century mansion in Waterford Ireland, which has been restored to provide luxury accommodation in Ireland's magnificent South East.
Located just six miles outside Waterford city, with its own golf course, it is one of the finest Waterford hotels. Faithlegg House Hotel offers the perfect combination of luxurious guestroom and self catering Waterford accommodation, extensive conference and banqueting facilities, superb leisure, health and beauty amenities, and a championship parkland golf course in Waterford, one of the more challenging golf courses in Ireland.
There are 82 guestrooms comprising 14 master guestrooms located in the original building and 68 standard bedrooms which include 2 exquisite suites in the recently built extension. Master guestrooms, (made up of 8 king size rooms and 6 four poster rooms) in the original house appropriately bear the names of people who have previously either lived in or had an influence on the estate. |

Located directly on the picturesque Suir Estuary, Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club is situated six miles east of Waterford City. Proximity too many of Ireland's major towns, cities, airports and ports means that Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club is easily accessible from both Ireland and further afield.
Waterford City is the main seaport of southeast Ireland. Its proximity to the ferocious Atlantic Ocean also makes it Ireland's Windy City, as the wind is always blowing here. Its location has a lot to do with the fact that it is Ireland's oldest city, founded by Viking invaders in the 9th century. In recent years, a major archaeological endeavor has excavated much of the ancient Viking city, and some of the more striking finds from these excavations can be seen in the Waterford Treasures exhibition at the Granary Museum.
Although the historic district around Reginald's Tower is intriguing, this is primarily a commercial center, dominated by its busy port. Because the rest of County Waterford is so beautiful, many travelers don't linger long in the capital city, though it is currently undergoing a wave of renewal and development, some of which is aimed at visitors. Truth is, there's a good deal to see and do here. |
