pleasant hotel
First Hotel G is a lovely and comfortable hotel. I stayed there for 2 days with my sister. We liked the central location of the hotel. Rooms were clean and facilities are good. Internet access is available. Breakfast is OK. Fine for short stays |

Wonderful stay!
I stayed at First Hotel G for 3 nights and i enjoyed every moment of my stay there. The hotel gives you everything you may want from a hotel. Excellent location, good service, delicious food and comfortable accomodation. One of the reasons i recommend this hotel is its excellent location. It is literally "above" the train station and it couldn't be any better located! The shopping mall Nordstan is just across the hotel offering you a wonderful base for shopping. Apart from its excellent location the hotel also offers quality service in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
My room was stylishly decorated with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean with floor heating and a bathtub.
If you're planing to stay at First Hotel G you should dine at the hotel restaurant, it offers a splendid menu for reasonable prices. I think this hotel is a wonderful base to stay in Gothenburg. |

Adequately satisfying
Very new and suitably hip, part of a chain of designer hotels.Fairly central and good for travel. I found it adequately satisfying for business traveller like me. |

Far superior to other places in Sweden
We stayed at the First Hotel G at the end of our trip, and after touring Sweden & Norway and staying in 5 other places, all about the same price range. This hotel is truly a step above. The rooms are spacious by Scandinavian standards, and the decor is modern. The beds were VERY comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also spacious. The shower was great (good water pressure), and the hairdryer was full-power, which I found rather rare. The breakfast had a good selection and was continually re-stocked. The room had a minibar, and the management had left us a basket containing chocolates, nuts and red wine, and thanking us for our stay - what a great touch! The location is very central, and the hotel is connected to a shopping center, so it is very convenient. We had to pay quite a lot for parking, but it was nothing out of the ordinary for the area. Also, about the location - do NOT be afraid of train noise, even though it is located above the station - it seems almost sound-proof -- no kidding!
