The Fort Unchagaon is a 19th century colonial mansion with the ramparts dating back to an earlier era when Unchgaon was a Rajput citadel. The fort has been inherited by Raja Surendra Pal Singh in the 19th century. As the years rolled by, all modern amenities were added to the old palace making it much loved weekend get away for many close friends and relatives of the family.
The Fort Unchagaon is lime washed with an impressive façade and is located amidst lush green lawns. The fort has not been a hotel until recently when guests were invited. |
