Location: foyles hotel is situated in the centre of clifden, which is located on the n59 in connemara on the west coast of county gaway, half way between galway city and westport. the 18-hole championship golf course is close to the hotel, with a beautiful sandy beach running alongside the course. deep sea fishing is available from clifden harbour and arrangements can be made for fresh water fishing and also for horse riding.
