The Modern House Hotel...

Opened in July 1998, the Frderick House Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Georgian "New Town". Many of Edinburgh's principal attractions including the main shopping areas are within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is a conversion of an elegant Georgian building and many of the original features have been retained.

Apart from dining out and shopping with many fine art galleries, museums and theaters, a cultural presence is never far away. Edinburgh's history is reflected in the Royal Mile, the Palace of Holyrood House and the Castle, all contrasting with the elegant terraces of the 'new town'.
