| LOCATION |
|
Fridays Boracay rests at the northern end of the four kilometers’ powder white sand beach which made the island famous. Boracay Island is located at the northern tip of Panay Island, Aklan Province, in the Visayan region of the Philippines, approximately 300 kilometers south of Manila.
The most convenient way to reach Boracay is by taking the one hour or thirty-five minute flights of Asian Spirit or Seair en route to Caticlan. These airlines also have flights originating from Cebu which takes you to Boracay in less than an hour.
Another alternative is by taking the Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific flights en route to Kalibo, from where you can take an air-conditioned bus or private van to reach the private welcome center. The trip from Kalibo to Caticlan is about two hours.
Upon arrival, a Fridays' transfer officer will greet you at the airport and bring you to fairways private welcome center in a short trip of 200 meters. Fridays Boracay's exclusive private 37' cruiser speedboat then takes you to the Cagban port in less than 4 minutes then by van to the resort. Ensure that you are wearing clothes and adequate footwear which will allow you to "walk in the water" from the beach to the boat or jetty port or vice-versa.
Depending on the weather condition, alternative routes will be used as specified by the Philippines Coast Guards like Tabon port to Fairways port at the back of the island where a Fridays van will wait for you and bring you to the resort. |
