excellent
I stayed at Garden Palace Hotel for one week. It was just perfect. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main attractions of the city. The hotel has a charming atmosphere with antique furnishes. My room was large and well furnished. Room facilities were good. |

Great value for money!
Me and my boyfriend just came back from a wonderful stay at Garden Palace Hotel and i wanted to share this experience here. The hotel is a charming place with fireplaces and antique decoration dated back to 19th century. The rooms also have wooden furnishings with comfortable facilities. Our room had a gorgeous view of the Old Town which created a historical ambience.
The hotel has a great location very close to Riga castle which is now the residence of the President of Latvia and many other attractions are also within walking distance from the hotel. Apart from the great accomodation and its wonderful location the hotel has a Sushi Restaurant, Nobu, which offers various kinds of sushi for the sushi lovers... Recommendable! |

Beautiful experience in Riga nandHotel Garden Palace is definitely big part of it
Hotel Garden Palace is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful eastern-European city. It is located near the town hall and on the edge of the old city, it is a great location to walk to any of the monuments, museums, etc.
Our suite room was excellent and we were blown away by the size and features. It had a king size bed, huge sitting area, spa bath, sauna, free internet access, cable TV, etc. Décor is a bit dated / “antique look” but that didn’t deter from the stay.
The breakfast was a bit sparse but still enough. We had a dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the basement that was really good. It has modern, intimate interior, extensive menu, both food and drinks. Also had dinner at Figaros, 2 doors up from the hotel – great food again, and matching service. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly, helpful. Security was very apparent with many cameras and a security guard on duty at all times, safe in our room also. Overall, Had a great experience in Riga and Hotel Garden Palace was definitely a big part of it. The hotel is not in particular impressive but very pleasant and comfortable situated in a great location. |
