Aug 21, 2011 The hotel Giotto is located in a quite residential area in close proximity of the Vatican and the Parc de la Pineta Sacchetti.

From the Giotto hotel, the nearest metro station is about a 15 minute walk. The actual metro journey to the centre of Rome takes approx 20 minutes

LOCATION

The hotel is in a residential area out of the city centre. Within walking distance of the hotel you will find the Sacchetti pine forest park.

* Breakfast is served on the ground floor. The hotel is a five-storey modern building. The exterior looks like two connected cones...The top floor of the hotel is not accesible by lift.

Best quality/price.

Very nice hotel for young couples, clean, quite tasty breakfast, near bus stop. About 20 minutes from center (first by bus, then metro). Very good conditions for this price! We recommend.

I'd go back there!

Nice Hotel and nice people working there, but thinking you're staying at Rome, and 3 stars hotels are not like they should be talking about other main cities in Europe. I've been with my husband, my parents and my parents in law, and 2 double rooms where at the 3rd floor, rooms big enough, but one at the lobby floor, and that was a bad room: little, dark, and with an awful bathroom.

Basic 2 star hotel

Giotto Hotel is a semi-centrally located hotel with good metro and bus links to the centre. After a ten minute walk to Cornelia metro station the historic centre in around 15 minutes. Giotto is convenient to many dining shopping and entertainment venues for the ones who can easily get around with public transportation. But for the ones exploring on foot, it would be a bit far. Overall, Giotto Hotel is lovely hotel, offering clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful bathroom facilities, good breakfast and very helpful staff. Basically, Giotto Hotel is a basic 3 star hotel.
