I stayed 2nights at the Glo, before and after a trip to Northern Finland. The staff were extremely professional and helpful, the room was ultra modern (loved the reclining bed), breakfast was delicious and it was a great location- easy to walk to all the City sites and to the train station.

By coincidence I booked the room in that hotel with a wrong date (one day too early). Unfortunately, I could not change it by Otel.com, since it was a special price. I understood that. But I rang the hotel directly to ask if we could just change the date or if they still had rooms for the following day, I wanted to book. The lady at the reception was very unfriendly and all of a sudden said that she did not have time for that now and I should call later. Then she just hang up without "good-bye". I did not like the way I was treated and of course, I did not ring them again, but booked another very nice hotel. So, I have no clue how the hotel itself is. What a pity. But a reception is at the end of the day the "face" of the hotel - at least to my point of view

Nice, modern hotel (most rooms seem to be located in a newly built wing next to the historical entrance to the reception). We booked a standard room but got an upgrade to a so called "bigger room", which had a large bed, enough space to walk around, ab big flat screen tv. So keep in mind that a regular booking normally will be for a smaller room. The bathing room (toilet and separated shower room) were very clairaudient and the person in the shower can be seen as silhouette from the bed. So be sure to travel with someone you know or want to get known to. Breakfast was ok, but a little bit crowdy. A walk to the center of Helsinki needs about 10 Min. The staff was very helpfull, e.g. we checked in very early without a problem.

Great location, quiet and comfortable stay
I just spent 4 nights at the GLO Art Hotel in Helsinki, and I couldn't have been more satisfied! The twin room was spacious, with plenty of room to unpack and store your clothes, the bed was comfortable (with lots of pillow choices) and the shower was a welcome treat at the end of a long day of walking all over Helsinki. The staff was very helpful, especially when I needed someone to come outside to help me adjust the Jopo bike they have for borrowing when I couldn't figure out how the seat worked. They only have 4 bikes to use for guests (and 2 don't have baskets) so ask early in the morning if you want to use one -- its first come, first serve. It really is a great way to get around the city and see places a bit more out of the way. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and hope to return next summer for yet another visit!

Great for a weekend break
Hotel is located in the Helsinki Design District, about 15 mins walk from the central station. Hotel is beautifully furnished in a good location with small, but great rooms for a weekend stay. Beds were excellent as was the wifi connection and the shower was one of the best I've had in a hotel. Breakfast was also thrown in and would recommned the hotel to anyone.

Je recommande vivement cet hotel. Le cadre est magnifique, l'hotel est à 10mn du centre à pied. Le sauna gratuit est très bien, le petit déjeuner est très complet, dans une salle superbe, toute en pierres.
