good stay
i stayed in this hotel while i was in the FRCS examination. the location is near the hospital, central and elegant. the drawback was the food (so i ate in the hotel nextdoor) and the discotech in the floor. |

nice budget 3 star hotel
We had stayed at Golden Oasis hotel for 5 nights while on the first time trip to Muscat. We were not expecting anything luxurious as we were looking for a standard budget hotel but with adequate facilities and service. So there it was Golden Oasis. The hotel is a basic three star, nothing fancy, but very clean. The staff was extremely friendly, and the restaurant/room service was not only inexpensive, but the food was very good.
The location of Golden Oasis is a bit out of the centre of town with no any kind of attractions around the neighbourhood expect the mosque around the corner, so don’t get surprised to get awakened at dawn, nevertheless it's quick to get to the beaches, and other attractions by taxi.
Overall, that was not the greatest hotel we have stay at, but Golden Oasis was a nice budget hotel with all relevant necessities that you would expect from 3 star standard hotel.
