perfect location
Grand Duomo Hotel is perfectly located. It is just 2 min from the Pisa Tower! There are also many good restaurants around the hotel. It is well located. Breakfast is good. Staff is helpful. For a short stay, this hotel is excellent. I liked my stay |

Very nice stay!
I stayed at Grand Duomo Hotel during my trip to Italy in April this year. Well, i left this hotel fully satisfied! This hotel is the ideal base to enjoy the beautiful Pisa! It has a wonderful location which is only 1.5 kilometers from Pisa central railway station and only a stone's throw away from the famous leaning Tower of Pisa. Cathedral Square is also within walking distance. My room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean. I was lucky that my room a fabulous view of the tower. The hotel has a decent ambience, the lobby is spacious and the staff is so friendly and open to contact. If you are planing to stay at this hotel i think at some point during your stay you should dine at the hotel's restaurant which delicious meals I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely go back again. |

A lovely stay at Grand Duomo
We had a lovely stay in the Grand Duomo, and were pleasantly surprised at the proximity to the Tower of Pisa and the Duomo. Many thanks to Grand Duomo's management and staff for being so much friendly and caring. In general, Grand Duomo Hotel - a great value hotel, no doubt.

Enjoyable stay at Grand Duomo Hotel
We have stayed at Grand Duomo Hotel for 3 nights in previous week. Excellent location - could see the tower, cathedral and Dome from our room window. Although Grand Duomo Hotel is on a busy road the shutters on the windows did an excellent job of cutting out noise and light. Had a nice night sleep.
Only minor thing was that the roof terrace was actually a couple of tubs not yet planted. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay at Grand Duomo Hotel, planning to come back next month. - Berkingsteins, London |

Excellent Hotel
My friend and I have stayed at Excellent hotel earlier this spring. Excellent Hotel, although you do pay for the superb location. The hotel is as close to the Leaning Tower as the description suggests, and there are some decent restaurants nearby. Bit of nightmare to get to by car through the one way system, but we timed it perfectly and parked right on the street next to the front doors!
Breakfast was above average and all staff were very helpful.
Request a room on the front with a view if possible, and don't miss a chance to get up to the roof terrace at night for the fantastic views of the Tower and surrounding area.
We had a nice time at Excellent Hotel, definitely worth giving it a try. From Jenny and Betty, England

Parking fees
This hotel neglected to mention parking fees of 16 Euros. This was the only hotel in our two-week Italian visit that charged for parking. It should be clearly stated in the hotel description.
Aside from this, the hotel itself was a good choice and an ideal location to visit the area. |
