We stayed 4 nights in a lake view room. Belows are the pros and cons we found:
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to old town and train station. The breakfast buffet is good and served in a restaurant with lake view. The pool and spa is fine. There is one public computer and printer on the 2nd floor for guests to use. The bathroom is very spacious and has two sinks.
Cons: Quite noisy. We can easily hear conversation from the next room and guests walking above us. The flooring is very uneven, sloping at a few areas. The heater and air conditioning over the glass window did not function properly and can be loud at times.

Just returned from Switzerland and spent one night at this hotel. The room was very large but slightly run down. We were on the second floor and overlooked the lake which was lovely. There was no AC so the windows were left open at night. The noise from people walking down the street and the piano bar below made sleeping very difficult. The plumbing was also noisy so you would hear the neighbors toilet flush or the water run through the night. The bathroom was small with only one sink and a combined shower tub.
The bed was fairly worn and it was brass with both headboard and footboard. There were two twin beds together. I am almost 6 foot and I found the footboard annoying as my feet would touch it when laying straight. The tv was about 19 inches with only 2 channels in english BBC and CNN. This was fairly typical in Switzerland. The restaurants looked very nice but we did not eat at them. The staff was friendly and attentive. If I stayed there again I would ask for a higher floor. The location was very convenient to shopping and to restaurants.
