Hotel Grand Pacific enjoys a reputation as one of the finest hotels in British Columbia, Canada. Rising grandly on the banks of Victoria's scenic Inner Harbour, this modern hotel is built in the chateau style and employs principles of Feng Shui. The hotel offers dramatic views of the historic old town and the waterfront. Business and leisure travelers alike appreciate the first-class service and amenities as well as the convenient location near attractions, shopping, and transportation.

LOCATION

Hotel Grand Pacific is located in the heart of historic Victoria, the largest city on Vancouver Island.

Set in the inspiring, relaxing surroundings of Victoria's Inner Harbor, the hotel is adjacent to the Parliament Buildings and within strolling distance of the myriad of boutiques, museums, galleries and cafes of historic Old Town and Antique Row, as well as all the amenities in downtown Victoria.

The Hotel Grand Pacific is two blocks from the Royal B.C. Museum with its extensive collection of Native Indian artifacts. The museum has won awards for its colorful dioramas and exhibits illustrating the history of British Columbia. It is also home to an IMAX Theatre.

* The Mark - Intimate restaurant; dinner served daily. Signature dishes include Slow-roasted Ostrich Pearl served with yam-and-Yukon-gold-potato strudel and a marsala demiglaze, and Grilled Jarvis Inlet Sockeye Salmon served with saffron Israeli cous cous, poached arugala, and Cobble Hill raspberry reduction. The restaurant's extensive wine list features local, California, and imported vintages.

* Pacific Lounge - Mahogany furnishings; big-screen television. Light lunches and dinners served daily. Martinis are a specialty; wide selection of blended and single-malt whiskies offered.

* Grand Pacific offers 308 rooms in a 10-story building with elevators and interior corridors. Rooms include down duvets and pillow menu, private step-out balconies, finely crafted mahogany furnishings, picture windows, and commissioned art of harbor scenes.

* Most bathrooms have two sinks, Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, and polished granite counters.

* Elegantly appointed and generously designed to provide a calm, welcoming living space, the guest rooms offer a selection of bed types and views, accessibility consideration, and a non-smoking environment (a limited number of rooms designated for smokers).
