Grand place to be... the name fits.
We traveled to the island of Grenada, knowing this was not really affected in the touristy way so many other islands are. We weren't disappointed with our stay, and the Grand View made it a very special two weeks. They have a wonderful restaurant, the Pirate's Cove, along with a sports bar, mini mart, and boutique right onsite. Grand Anse and Morne Rouge beach are both a short walk away. The rooms are very nice, air conditioned, and have 110 or 220 electrical service. The food is fresh, excellent, and features a touch of the local cuisine if you desire. I do recommend the fish - it's super fresh and delicious. The staff are very accomodating and I made friends with a number of them during our stay, including Rachel, the evening bartender in the restaurant. If you like a nice place to stay for an extended time, they have apartments as well, and either way, I would recommend the Grand View Inn. Enjoy your travels! |
