Was very happy with my stay at the Grange Holborn. Rooms are above average size for London, terrific location. Only negative is the bland breakfast.

The Grange Holborn was a gorgeous hotel, very well placed for walking into the west end, etc. There was a bit of traffic noise, but nothing that would put me off staying here again. I loved the pool and the steam room/sauna. A great bonus. The staff were a bit dopey though. It would be nice in London to be served by someone who can actually speak fluently in English!

I've stayed in this hotel three times now. It is a very good deal at the weekend rate (Fri, Sat, and Sun nights). The cost during the week is so much higher, and you could do much better. Good things: rooms are beautiful and spacious, good location, excellent breakfast, nice sports club downstairs. Weaknesses: clueless service (don't speak english, don't understand their jobs well), sort of noisy location (always lots of sirens - near a hospital?). I would go back if I had a room on the upper floors.

We visit London infrequently and would like to try different hotels, but we usually end up booking back at the Grange Holborn because it's reasonable (if booked through a discount agency, obviously) and the staff are always great. Also, the facilities are clean and in good condition, the breakfast is good, the gym and pool are small but perfectly fine for hotel stays.It is also really well positioned for the things we usually want to do in London, Tottenham Court Road, Covent Garden, British Museum etc. We stayed there last month and now it looks like we'll need to visit again at the end of this month, so I suspect we'll be going back again!

We stayed here three times when we were living in rural England last year, and we really loved it. It is a very new hotel, in a central location, with great access to buses and tubes, halfway between the British Museum and Covent Garden. The rooms are spotless with lovely bathrooms, the service is wonderful (they remembered us after the first visit), and they have the best pool and fitness room I've seen in London. You need them to work off the calories from the huge breakfast buffet. All at prices not much different from other places in this neighborhood where there were no amenities and Iyou have to share a bath. Check directly with the hotel for weekend specials.
