The H10 Itaca is a mere 10 minutes away on the underground from the city‘s main touristic sights, and is well connected with the El Prat Airport. It boasts a restaurant with elaborated author‘s cuisine specialised in Mediterranean gastronomy, meeting rooms with natural light and a marvellous 500m² terrace for holding all kinds of events.

LOCATION
Located next to the trade fair park and in the heart of the district of Eixample, the H10 Itaca is in a perfectly communicated area and is just 5 minutes away from the centre of Barcelona by train.
How arrived by car:
* From Girona: Come off the A7 and continue along the Ronda de Dalt, and come off at the exit for Balmes and then go straight on until calle Aragón. Go along this street until calle Llança and then Avenida de Roma.* From Tarragona: Via the A7 continue along the Avenida Diagonal until calle Numancia, go down this street until you reach the Estación de Sants and continue along Avenida de Roma.
* From Madrid-Zaragoza-Lleida: Via the A2 continue along the Avenida Diagonal until calle Numancia, go down this street until you reach the Estación de Sants and continue along Avenida de Roma.
How arrived from airport:
* The hotel is located very near the Sants station. From the airport you can take a direct train or the Aerobus which will take you to this station. From Girona airport you can take buses which take you to the North station. Then take the L1 to Espanya and change to L3 until Tarragona.
Underground Railway Station:
* Sants Estació: Lines 3 and 5, 300 metros from hotel. Tarragona: Line 3, 200 m. from hotel. Espanya: Line 1, line 3, line 8, 600 m. from hotel.

Can't really add much to all the other positive reviews - the Itaca, Barcelona is truly excellent, with friendly, helpful staff - can't wait to visit again.

We have just returned from visiting this hotel. It was a great experience. (Yes the champagne greeting is very nice!)
The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to Sants Estacio (Barcelona Sants) station. Its only a few mins by tube to all the places of interest. Should you choose to walk then it takes around 20mins to reach major points of interest.
The rooms were modern in decor and the bathrooms were marble. All toiletries were provided should you have forgetton anything when you arrive.
The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel bar made a relaxing and enjoyable end to a day in town.
The breakfasts were very generous catering to all tastes.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a city break.

it was our first time in barcelona and we really enjoyed the hotel. Our room wasn't ready by the time we checked in but we got to wait in a nice lobby with a complementary glass of cava. Room was spacious, and pleasant. the bathroom is great and the airco has made it perfect. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options of food. And as the location is convenient since it's only 5 minutes walk from the metro station.

The Itaca is a modern very comfortable hotel. The rooms are spotless, bathroom very nice. Very close to the tourist bus route making exploring Barcelona very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay in this hotel again if we returned to Barcelona.

We were a little unsure of the H10 Itaca as there was on one review on it. This excellent hotel located a short walk from the station was first class in every way. Greeted with a smile & a chilled glass of Cava, we were shown to our room which was immaculately clean, the most important thing to me, beautifully decorated with every toiletry item you could wish for in the marble bathroom. Breakfast was unbelievable, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, even smoked salmon. Cooked eggs, bacon, sausages. Juice, cereals, savoury pastries, danish sweet pastries and cakes. Simply the best breakfast I have ever experienced in any hotel I have stayed in! Having worked in the hotel trade for 20 years I could not find fault. Barcelona itself is amazing. We will return to this wonderful city and this hotel.

We took a cab form the airport (costing approximately 20 Euros) and were met at the Itaca by friendly staff and a glass of champagne which was fantastic. Our rooms were spacious and clean and inspected and cleaned on a daily basis. Although we didn't have an evening meal, breakfast was a suptious affair with all sorts of fruit, cold and hot meats, pastries and bread on offer. You could replenish your plate at any time although there was always a mad rush whenever the strawberries came out! The Itaca was more than a walk from the centre but a few minutes on foot lead us to a main bus/train/metro stop - 10 minutes on the metro and you could be at Las Ramblas. Personally I would use the Itaca again.

We stayed at h10 Itaca in December 03. The rooms are lovely and roomy, nice bathrooms. Very Clean and friendly staff. Quite a walk into Barcelona though!

We stayed at this hotel 23rd - 26th June and it was outstanding. It was well equipped and everything was immaculate. The staff were amongst the most helpful and friendly we have ever come across anywhere. Add to that nice little touches like free high-speed internet access and free cakes/savoury snacks in the late afternoon/evening and you have a highly recommendable package

My husband and I spent the nights of June 9 - 11 at the Itaca and found it very nice. It's in walking distance from the train station (if you don't have a lot of luggage), which is, itself, very easily accessible from the airport. The air conditioning worked great, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful with all our requests. The only potential "drawbacks" are that it's not in an especially "happening" part of town (which we actually liked!) and that the double bed really is a double. If you're used to a queen, it's fine, but if you're used to a king, you'd be better off requesting two single beds pushed together. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Stayed 4 nights in July 2004. Really pleasant hotel, clean throughout with good sized bedrooms and lovely bathroom. Breakfast as suggested elsewhere was excellent. Reasonable location, 5 mins to Metro and a couple of stops to the centre of town. Good rates and would definitely stay there again.
