lovely hotel
Harbour Hotel Galway is conveniently located close to the city centre, many shops and restaurants. I stayed there for 4 days. It is a nice clean hotel which is modernly decorated. The hotel offers a great breakfast. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I liked the hotel's restaurant and lovely bar. Staff is friendly. |

Nice hotel in Galway
I've recently stayed at Harbour Hotel Galway for 2 nights and my stay was a nice one. My room was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff was helpful. Dining facilities at the hotel were satisfactory. The hotel's steamroom and gym were ideal places to work out and get rid of the stresses of the daily routine. I recommend it. |

Moderate hotel in a good location
My partner and I recently stayed at the Harbour Hotel in Galway and found it to be ok, at best. While the lobby of the hotel was clean, bright and very modern, the room given was facing the garage parking did not give much of impression, but still was comfortable enough. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was mediocre. The hotel was modern having a redo a few years ago and was quiet except for traffic noise. However, it is still within walking distance to the center of Galway so seeing the sights was easy. Basically, Harbour Hotel is a decent hotel with nothing to impress yet clean with efficient and helpful staff. |

fine choice
Me and my girlfriend stayed at Harbour Hotel for 4 nights and we had a nice experience. We have read some negative reviews about the hotel but it was too late to change our booking. Even though, we had a room on the other side of the hotel to the coal yard. The room was a of outdated decor but that was i guess the featured character of the hotel if you can call it so, and personally I never heard anything except the bustling city noise, which is absolutely acceptable due to the close proximity to the city center. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk to the centre of Galway city (Eyre Square) and all the bars / restraints. The breakfasts were exactly what you'd expect from this standard of hotel and I certainly wasn't left hungry in the morning with a wide selection on offer. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful and adhered to my special request of a harbour view which was much appreciated. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed and functional TV with plenty of channels. We arrived an hour and a half earlier than the check in time and we were still given a room straight away which again was much appreciated. We will definitely be back in Galway and it will be hard to look past the Harbour Hotel for somewhere else to stay. |
