I stayed there for 3 days. It is perfectly located near the shopping mall and also close to city centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful. |

Great value for money!
Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel during our springbreak in April 2007. We really liked the hotel and its friendly staff so much. Helka Hotel is excellent in every aspect. It has an ideal location in the central Helsinki and is 700 metres away from the Helsinki Main Railway Station and only 200 metres from the metro station "Kamppi". Besides this outstanding location which provides easy access to the restaurants, cafes and bars in the center the hotel is also a perfect place to rest and enjoy relaxing moments. In this hotel we really felt like everything is planned in detail for our comfort. The rooms are stylishly furnished including towels, linen and soap while the painting attached to the ceiling completes the tasteful decoration. the Internet connection in the room is a plus of course. The hotel offers a splendid breakfast including salad, tomoto, cucumber, cereals, bread, egg, bacon and cofee/tea. The restaurant, moreover, offers delicious examples from the Finnish cuisine while the hotel sauna is a nice place for relaxation. Helka Hotel is the ideal base to stay in Helsinki. Very recommendable! |

really nice hotel
The comfort and the atmosphere and of course the service made the whole stay was very pleasant. besdies, everything is kept in strict nordic design which is really nice.

definitely coming back
Comfortable room and a good size for single, quiet at night,within reasonable walking distance of centre including some art galleries, museums and port area. Good and varied breakfast. I won't hesitate to back here

pleased with my stay
It was very convenient for the new shopping centre and restaurants. A gentle walk to all the other attractions and short walk to the station.
Beautifully designed definitely catches your eye.
Moreover, kindness of hotel staff should be emphasized. Pleased with my stay.

Perfect!
Great location, wonderful breakfast buffet, and the large rooms (by European standards) are decorated in sleek Danish style. Ask for a room with a balcony! Excellent value for the price. |
