Built by the wealthy New York-based Helmsley family when making high rise buildings were all the rage. The Helmsleys were known for being ostentatious and fun and this hotel is a mirror-reflection of their infamous personalities. From the enormous block-long lobby and grandiose ballroom to overly spacious and quiet rooms decorated with colorful warm patterns and textures.

Helmsley Park Lane Hotel is located on Central Park South between The Avenue of the Americas and Fifth avenue. Columbus circle and Carnagie Hall are within three blocks.
Between Times square one mile away and the hotel, are scores of theatres, all with shows worthy of seeing. The subway stop is across the street making transportation a breeze. Better yet, take a pause from the fast paced holiday and immerse yourself in nature at Central park. Walk through the green spaces, and forested areas, walk to Cherry Hill, rent a boat on the pond or visit the zoo, all within the park grounds.
