Covering 18 Hectares, Heron Island lies on the Tropic of Capricorn (23 degrees south of the equator), 72 kilometres NE off the coast from Gladstone, central Queensland. 534 kilometres north of Brisbane. 1,183 kilometres south of Cairns. Heron Island operates 1 hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST) all year round. |

Breakfast and lunch are buffet style while dinner features a 3 course table d'hote or Saturday seafood buffet and mid week Aussie BBQ. Special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement. A picnic hamper service is available on request.
* Pandanus Lounge & Baillie's Bar
The Bar & Lounge features panoramic reef views, with a cocktail bar, entertainment lounge, dance floor and a mezzanine level library area. The Bar & Lounge opens to an outdoor terrace.
* Wistari Room
An air conditioned presentation room for evening news, movies and sporting events. |

| ROOM AMENITIES |

* All accommodation styles have a balcony or patio, ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board, beach towels, alarm clock radio, ensuite with shower, hairdryer and refrigerator. A rollaway bed is available in our Heron and Reef Suites only.
* TV's and telephones, while available on the island, are not found in guest rooms.
* Point Suites and the Beach House feature air-conditioning, mini-bar, telephones and evening turndown service. Daily full buffet breakfast, smorgasboard lunch and 3 course table d'hote or themed buffet dinner are included in the tarriff.
* Guests in the Beach House, Point Suites and Wistari receive a deluxe fruit basket on arrival and a sunset canape platter and fresh ice each afternoon. |

| CANCELLATION POLICY |

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of Heron Island Resort by Voyages Hotel Tropical North Coast.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
