simple lovely hotel
I stayed there for 2 days. It is a nice and simple hotel and a bit old. Breakfast is OK. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is available. I recommend it for short stays

Hell not Haven
First of all McDuff is no where near Aberdeen. McDuff is a 45 minute drive from the city of Aberdeen.
The hotel was dark and dingy. Nothing worked right. The rooms were pokie and the restaurant was an Indian takeaway rather than a proper eating place. it most definatley should not be 3 star in any shape or form. For breakfast I got 1 slice of bacon, 1 heated up half tomato and a so called fried egg. that was it. Horrid horrid horrid, so bad I had to say it thrice. My advice to you about this hotel would be to downgrade the star rating immediatley, and then tell them to make sure everything is in working order. The showers were c@@p and the toilet seat was broken at the front where one sits. Ok in hinesight the rate is cheap but this also reflects on the hotels standards. Keep it real people, shabby, downtrodden and quite dirty.

Small, cosy budget hotel
This is a small cosy hotel situated in the small coastal town Macduff near Aberdeen. I stayed at this hotel in March this year for 1 night and liked the friendly atmosphere. My room was a clean, comfortable room with a splendid view of the sea. I cannot commend on the food as the restaurant was closed when i arrived at the hotel. The hotel bar was a lovely place ideal for relaxation. It is a nice budget hotel offering comfortable stay near Aberdeen. Recommended!
