| Experience the quality you can find only in Hilton... |
|
Hilton Amsterdam is an ideal location for both the business and leisure traveller situated in one of the most exclusive areas in the city - indeed in the Netherlands. The hotel has in it's neighbourhood the most exclusive shopping streets in Amsterdam and the commercial and financial center of the city are closeby. The hotel borders on a canal and overlooks it's own garden and Marina which is filled in the summer with beautiful antique wooden boats.
The Hilton Amsterdam opened in 1962, being the first international Hilton Hotel in Europe and the first international hotel in The Netherlands. Designed in 1958 by the Dutch architect Maaskant, its structure continued along the same lines of Berlage's earlier ideas. The hotel's characteristic V-shape is significant as it shows where the two main avenues of Amsterdam meet, the Apollolaan and the Minervalaan. |

Loved the hotel, I still rave about it to my friends and colleagues. Fantastic view of the city from my room, the executive lounge is fantastic and the staff are all very helpful. I always look forward to staying at this hotel.

We stayed for a week-end at a summer sale rate and got an excellent value for money. The location is really good. NOT in the city-center but two stops behind museum square by tram plus 5 minutes walk in a beautiful (and apparently safe and absolutely peaceful)...
