TheHilton Antwerp is located in the city centre, central to business, shopping and entertainment centres. It is also next to the fifteenth century Cathedral of Our Lady and the sixteenth century Renaissance Town Hall. The hotel is built on the site of a large department store, the "Grand Bazaar du Bon Marché" and has retained the original facades. Behind its ancient facades, the Antwerp Hilton provides first-class facilities for both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel's ballroom, with a capacity of 1000, incorporates a restored, domed ceiling. Other features include 13 meeting rooms with Hilton Meeting facilities and a health club with special rates, in-house security and 500 parking spaces. High Speed Wireless Internet available throughout the hotel.

LOCATION

Hilton Antwerp is the city centre's only deluxe prime location hotel, just a 35 minute drive from the International Airport. Situated behind a listed Baroque facade, the Hilton forms an integral part of the Grand Bazaar, a modern shopping centre on the Groenplaats, located in the main business and leisure district.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Maritime Bar - Traditional bar decorated in warm tones of brown, red and blue, with dark-wood panelling, leather sofas, artworks and lamps, offering a unique selection of single-malt whiskies, classic cocktails and Belgian beers. Children under 18 welcome if accompanied by an adult. Daily happy hour from 5.30 to 7.30 PM. Open daily until 1 AM and 2 AM on Saturday.

* Terrace Cafe - Classically decorated brasserie overlooking the Groenplaats and Cathedral, housed in a high-ceilinged conservatory with wicker armchairs, a patterned marble floor and hanging plants. The adjoining outdoor terrace offers al fresco dining in fine weather. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a late brunch is served on Sundays.

* The Fit-Inn, Antwerp Hilton's health club and fitness centre, offers a cardio-vascular equipment, Power Plates and group training sessions. After a workout, guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy a pampering massage.

* The hotel houses 2,600 square metres of event space, including a ballroom with a restored domed ceiling, and 13 meeting rooms equipped with modern audio-visual equipment and wireless Internet access. The business centre provides secretarial and typing services, conference kits and fax and copying services.

* Guests can enjoy the convenience of a 24-hour front desk, room service around the clock, and an onsite gift shop, florist and tour desk.

* Secure covered parking is available for 500 cars.
