We stayed for Carnival in the Hilton in Cologne and really loved it.
Excellent staff, big and beautiful rooms, large bathrooms, excellent breakfast ... nothing at all to complain about. We will come back for the CSD pride in July.
Although I live in Cologne I sometimes have the opportunity to stay in the hotels here. And the the Hilton is really one of the best in the city for a good price (book via Internet!). It is in the center of the city, the main station, subway and the cathedral ...
