I attended a Christmas Party at the hotel last week, and thought that the hotel was fantastic.
The food served at the party was excellent, as was the entertainment, and the overall atmosphere was very festive - everyone I spoke to enjoyed themselves immensely (some maybe a little too much!). My bedroom was clean, and well equipped, and the breakfast was particularly good, with lots of choice.
Having stayed in a few different hotels recently with work, the thing that impressed me most was the standard of service, and the efficiency and friendliness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will certainly be returning myself! |

I recently stayed at this hotel, after staying last year. The restaurant and bar areas have been completely redone and the food and service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and pool was great. I will return |

This is a bit of a mixed bag. The outside needs updating. The reception and bar areas are very good and stylish. Pool area ok but room for improvement. The hotel has 2 room standards: Standard rooms and Suites.
The suits are nothing special - they are just like a large room with a lounge area. I have never stayed in a standard room but have heard mixed reports.
Staff are friendly and attentive. The location is realativley central and near to the train station.
Although this hotel is not perfect, it is often good value and among the best in the surrounding area. |
