Hilton Prague Old Town is centrally located in the heart of Prague, within walking distance of Old Town Square and the historic area. From the 'Potomac Steakhouse', American steakhouse, 'U Korbele' offering typical Czech foods and beer, to the international buffets of the 'Pavillion'; the hotel's 3 restaurants each offer individual dining choices.

The construction of the hotel building commenced in 1991 and was completed in 1993. The hotel was opened under the name Hotel Penta in 1993.
In 1994, the management agreement with Renaissance company was signed. The “Penta“ hotel thus became a part of the international hotel chain Renaissance. Since 1997, Marriott International has operated the Renaissance hotel.
In summer 2007, Hilton Hotels Corporation took over the management of the property. After a full refurbishment including all guestrooms and public areas Hilton Hotels Corporation opens the hotel on November 01. Hilton Prague Old Town becomes a second Hilton property in Prague.

Interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud, noted for her work at The Boca Raton Resort & Club and New York’s Carlyle Hotel, oversaw the renovation of the rooms.
David Collins, recognized for his innovative and visionary work on The London NYC, Nobu Berkeley Street, the Blue Bar at the Berkeley, Claridge’s Hotel and the National Gallery, restored the hotel’s public spaces and restaurant and introduced his modern design vision to reflect the architecture of Prague, finding inspiration from the city’s great architectural landmarks and artisan traditions with a subtle nod to Czech Modernism and the Cubism movement. |
