We had a great stay
lovely hotel with friendly staff and great typical bavarian restaurant. room was outstanding beautiful!
Everybody speaks english and it is perfect located for the castles and the beautiful town fuessen.

A truely charming and traditional hotel
A brisk 5 minute walk or a leisurely 10 minute walk with your luggage will bring you to this hotel. Easy to find. Good location. Very close to the main shops. Wonderfully warm, hospitable and traditionally German, which we loved. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast even better. A wonderful variety from fresh fruit & cereals to cold meat and cheese platters as well as freshly fried bacon and eggs. A hearty breakfast indeed. We loved our stay here and will return to the Hotel Hirsh if ever we have the opportunity to visit Fussen again.

beautiful hotel
this hotel is a typical bavarian hotel with great german kitchen and closed to the center and the castels.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely come back to this place.

Enchanting town and delightful hotel
Fussen was the last stop on our two week journey of Europe, and by far our most enjoyable part of the journey. The people are warm and friendly. Hirsch Hotel is just picturesque. The staff is extremely accomodating. The daily breakfast filling and delicious. My husband and I stayed an extra night in order to enjoy another day in Fussen. We needed to leave at 4:00 AM and the staff prepared my husband and I each a box "breakfast" which consisted of two sandwiches, banana, apple, orange, boiled egg and two bottled drinks, each! We found a wonderful glass shop, Glaskunst Fischer, whose owner actually blows glass on premises. Ask him about his lightmills, vs. windmills. He and his wife were very warm and friendly. We look forward to a return visit to Fussen and stay at Hirsch Hotel.
