Enchanting town and delightful hotel
Fussen was the last stop on our two week journey of Europe, and by far our most enjoyable part of the journey. The people are warm and friendly. Hirsch Hotel is just picturesque. The staff is extremely accomodating. The daily breakfast filling and delicious. My husband and I stayed an extra night in order to enjoy another day in Fussen. We needed to leave at 4:00 AM and the staff prepared my husband and I each a box "breakfast" which consisted of two sandwiches, banana, apple, orange, boiled egg and two bottled drinks, each! We found a wonderful glass shop, Glaskunst Fischer, whose owner actually blows glass on premises. Ask him about his lightmills, vs. windmills. He and his wife were very warm and friendly. We look forward to a return visit to Fussen and stay at Hirsch Hotel.
