Hard to find - and even then not worth it!

The hotel was almost impossible to find and upon exit was almost impossible to get away from - I finally had to use a section of unmade road to get back onto the main highway. Also the swimming pool and spa had been closed down due to "lack of use", even though the facilities were listed in the latest Holiday Inn hotel booklet. The "fitness room / Gym" is little more than a claustrophobic broom cupboard with three or four aerobic machines crammed in. The room itself was acceptable although the carpet was badly stained in many places and the bottom of the fridge was swimming in water. The shower was of the variety where it constantly varies between being too hot and too cold but never actually just right. To add insult to injury we were charged 6 Euro for overnight parking. I have stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years and have always found them generally good value and pleasant if somewhat impersonal (but certainly no worse than any other multinational chain). This one was a real letdown. The only reason I could think for possibly staying at this hotel would be if one was attending a conference at the nearby Expo centre. However, I would advise using it only as an absolute last resort and only if every other room within a 50 mile radius is taken. Our stay at this hotel marred an otherwise excellent holiday.
