A fine hotel. Buses from the nearby park-ride lot go into the city centre every 8 minutes during the day (every 30 minutes at night), so the location is not as bad as it sounds. Clean, modern, comfortable. Be sure to check for special prepaid rates.
The only flaw is that my non-smoking room had a smell of smoke coming into it through the air conditioner. When I complained, I was immediately moved to another room that did not have the problem. Cause was never determined; it may be bad design, or it may be someone smoking where they shouldn't.
Note that there is no hotel restaurant. Right in front of the hotel is a Little Chef (similar to an American Shoney's or Big Boy), but if you want good food, eat in town (e.g., at Brown's or Bella Italia).

adequate located just outside town next to the park n ride but someone forgot to build the footpath between the 2!! rooms are bright clean and comfortable gym is tiny and fills quickly located in a sort of service station area so eating options available

This was an excellent hotel, and a far better deal than hotels that I tried near the center of Oxford. This hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the center, and there is a shuttle bus available. This is not a quaint old hotel, but rather a modern well-run business hotel. The room was very large and modern, with excellent facilities all around. I was very pleased to move here from an old hotel (Royal Oxford) in the center of town that was charging more.
