good value for money and better than just basic
We had a very pleasant time at the Cristal Hotel. It was a good price and in a great location near the train station. Before we stayed there I had read a mix of reviews, but honestly the room was of standard size with properAC, the bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly – we could not ask more for the price we paid.
Considering Geneva is expensive, Cristal Hotel represents a good value for money and is better than basic. I would stay here again without a doubt.

a good value for money and is better than basic
Hotel Cristal has pleasantly surprised me after reading some of negative reviews. The hotel is dated and in need of some refurbishment but its not terrible by any means. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was generally good. The room was more than adequate. The beds were extremely comfortable and had lovely soft duvets. The bathroom was clean and had excellent water pressure. The room is equipped with a mini bar and safe. The aircon works well. The TV has a good selection of channels. I was on the 4th floor, and whilst generally it was very quiet. The breakfast room, in the rear on the ground floor, was cheerful and the food was standard Switzerland three-star hotel fare. The Hotel Cristal is so much conveniently located to train station.
Considering the fact that Geneva is an expensive city, Hotel Cristal represents a good value for money and is better than basic. I would stay here again without a doubt.
