Terceira Island’s first four star hotel, Hotel do Caracol's initial purpose was to mark a turning point for Terceira Island's hotel business. This was accomplished not only due to its higher category but also due to the quality and uniqueness of the services that the Hotel provides. |

Located in Angra do Heroísmo, near the Silveira bathing area, the Hotel do Caracol project set in motion the demolition of the existing concrete ruins that had remained on site for a decade. These ruins (replaced by Hotel do Caracol) where the result of a previous unsuccessful tourism project managed by foreign investors.
The location where the Hotel was built had been previously occupied by a Manor House named “Quinta do Caracol”, which had a remarkable spiral turret belvedere close to the sea. |

The Caracol Wellness Center offers a wide selection of innovative therapeutic techniques, conceived to your physical and mental well being. All treatments are executed in a unique customized way, by Physical Therapists.
Hotel do Caracol’s guests have free access to our Sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish Bath, Cardio-Fitness Gym and Indoor heated Swimming Pool. They also benefit of special prices in some of the available treatments on the Caracol Wellness Center.

Hotel do Caracol has 5 meeting rooms which can hold from 8 people up to 400 people.
The Meeting Rooms are equipped with Air Conditioning, Data-show, Flip-Chart, Whiteboard, table microphone, wireless microphone, TV and DVD, Video-Conference equipment and Simultaneous Translation Equipment.
* Restaurant
Capacity for 80 people, the Cozinha do Caracol Restaurant provides daily Menu or Chef’s Suggestion meals for lunch and dinner. A carefully selected wine menu, as well as a wide national and international cuisine variety, point out the “Cozinha do Caracol” Restaurant as an excellent choice for guests. |

| CANCELLATION POLICY |

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of Hotel do Caracol Terceira island.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
