Highly recommended!
My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Kompas. Nice hotel really. Location is fine. Old town can be reached within 10 minutes with public transportation. ( Bus number 4,5 and 6 will directly take you there). You should see the harbour and take a walk on the narrow streets of the old city.Well, apart from the surroundings the hotel is great compared to the other hotels of its class. There is a nice outdoor pool as well as an indoor heated pool at the hotel. The room in which we stayed was a large room very comfortable including a TV, hairdryer and mini bar. Our room had a balcony which had a wonderful sea view. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. We dined at both of the restaurants. Food was good. Hotel bar was the ideal place for relaxation. All the staff was friendly, they spoke English quite good. Leisure activities were satisfactory. Hotel's gym was well equipped. Hotel Kompas is absolutely fascinating. We highly recommend it!
