Hotel Sacher Wien is privately owned since 1876. The "Sacher" is as much part of Vienna as the State Opera, the Ferries Wheel, the Fiaker and the Lipizzaner Horses. The Hotel's long history can be felt in every room, where modern comfort is ideally combined with the charm of the Habsburg monarchy. All rooms and suites are individually decorated with original oil paintings, precious rugs and silk wall covering. Hotel Sacher Wien is located just opposite the State Opera, 5 minutes from the "Hofburg" Imperial Palace, close to Ringstrasse. Walking distance to Metro Station, St. Stephens Cathedral, Imperial Palace and many more Sites of Vienna. Sacher is easily reachable with public transportation and walking distance to Spanish Riding School (Lipizzaners) and to Vienna Boys Choir located at The Imperial Palace.
