We had a 4 day stay at this superb hotel in March 2004. Location is very central but away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town.
Staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Rooms were luxurious. Beautifully appointed bathroom with bath and separate shower, good mirrors and lighting which, was great for putting on make-up. So many hotels (even expensive ones) have poor lighting in the bathroom or mirrors in the wrong place for ladies putting on make-up. The toilet was separate to the main bathroom. There was plenty of wardrobe space with a great selection of hangers. Bedroom was large with a huge bed. Room had a 'complimentary' mini-bar. We had breakfast in our rooms each day which with very generous quantities (although a bit late on our first morning). We asked the hotel for recommendation for a meal out in town one evening. Their suggestion was great so we had lunch there the following day too. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I found myself in Prague again.

The Hotel Savoy was wonderful! We have just returned from a 4 night stay celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, and could not have been happier with our accomodations and experience. The staff was outstanding! Room appointments and condition was perfect. The included breakfast was superb and the complimentary minibar was a very nice extra touch. The hotel's location was also terrific; close to the major sites and experiences in Prague, but away from the intense tourist sections of the city. Returning to the hotel each evening we felt as though we were returning home!

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of August 2003 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Right from the moment we were met at the airport by our driver the service offered by the hotel and the attitude of the staff was excellent. Check in was relaxing, our room superb, the public areas exemplary. Breakfast was wonderful and on the one evening we dined at the hotel we found the restaurant to be everything you could wish, though if quite, a little devoid of atmosphere despite the pianist. The leisure facility though small was clean and well appointed and the massages were old school and the better for it. We will definitely be back.

we stayed here for three days, and thought it was great. very nice room. clean. comfortable beds. marble bathroom. complimentary minibar. breakfast delivered to the room every morning (included). a wonderful "relax center" in the basement with a sauna, steamroom, whirlpool etc. very helpful (but not terribly nice) staff (cut them some slack - they're still not over the whole communism thing. we would saty here again. it is however, a little far from the city center. you'll be close to the castle (which is amazing), but a little walk from everything else. we didn't find it a problem though - and actually liked the peace and quiet.

My husband and I stayed at the Savoy in Prague in September 02. The location is great, just a few blocks from Prague castle. Overall, our experience was very good, but fell short of our expectations for a 5 star accommodation. We felt the service was so-so, we had a few problems with the heat in our bathroom, etc. In general, however, service is substandard in Prague. The hotel lobby and common areas are beautifully done and we DID have the opportunity to see Sean Connery in the lobby when we checked in. He was also staying there at the time!

We visited this lovely hotel in October 2003 for five days. The location is excellent- close by the castle but a little away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. Close trolley access made visiting any area of Prague easy and quick. Service was extraordinary, restaurant excellent, and overall it was one of our best ever European venues. I highly recommend Prague in general and a stay at the Savoy!
