Hotel Stein is a beautiful hotel in the Old Town of Salzburg, situated directly at the Staatsbrücke. The building is 600 years old and has been completely renovated. The renovation as well as the integration of modern amenities has just been finished in 2004. The rooms are equipped with elegant and stylish furniture and either offer views of the Old Town and the fortress Hohensalzburg, or are located towards the quiet back lane Steingasse.
The hotel features a large breakfast room in the style of the turn of the century. Another highlight is the newly created roof terrace cafe with its large indoor area, open all year. |

The Hotel Stein was our favorite hotel during our 2 week Europe trip It was ideally situated right across the river from the Old Town of Salzburg as well as around the corner from some great restaurants. The room was large and well-appointed with a flat screen...
